Schneider AEG MBP-30
MBP-30 is a modular control product of the Modicon series launched by Schneider Electric after acquiring Germany’s AEG. Positioned as a 1210 MHz broadband modem, it is widely used for high-speed communication among remote monitoring, data acquisition and upper-level systems (SCADA, MES) in industrial sites. Adopting a standardized modular structure, it supports flexible plug-and-play and quick assembly, and is compatible with multiple fieldbuses and Ethernet protocols, meeting the requirements for high reliability and real-time performance in the Industry 4.0 environment.

Structure & Composition
Cabinet body: Cold-rolled steel plate stamping forming with anti-corrosion paint spraying on the surface, providing robust mechanical support.Busbar system: Copper or aluminum busbars fixed by elastic buckles, facilitating quick assembly, disassembly and module replacement.Function modules:
- Operation panel: Optional knobs, buttons, touch screens or indicator lights, realizing local manual operation and status display.
- Communication modules: Ethernet, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, etc.

Key Installation & Maintenance Notes
Installation
- Select distribution cabinets compliant with IEC 60204-1 and reserve 10 cm width module slots.
- Connect power cables and communication cables (RJ45, optical fiber or RS-485) to corresponding terminal blocks according to the wiring diagram.
- Fix busbars with elastic buckles to ensure reliable contact between busbars and modules.
- Conduct on-site power-on self-test after installation, check indicator status and confirm normal communication links.
Maintenance
- Regularly inspect the dust filter, cooling fan and grounding device inside the cabinet to maintain good heat dissipation.
- Utilize built-in self-test functions and remote monitoring platforms to capture fault codes in a timely manner and perform software and hardware upgrades.
- For module replacement, cut off the power supply first, pull out the faulty module and insert a new one of the same specification; the system will automatically identify it and resume operation.
