Product Features
- Spectra RMS Technology: Adopts digital sampling technology, which enhances the ability to identify non-sinusoidal current. This makes the circuit breaker highly suitable for modern power systems with high harmonic content, ensuring stable and accurate protection performance.
- Field-Adjustable Rating: Equipped with a front-mounted Rating Plug, the rated current (ranging from 100A to 250A) can be changed on-site without disassembling the housing. This flexibility allows the breaker to adapt quickly to changes in load requirements, improving operational efficiency.
- High Interrupting Capacity: It provides 25kA of interrupting capacity in 600V systems and 65kA in 480V systems. This strong interrupting capability ensures that large current faults can be safely cleared, minimizing potential damage to electrical equipment and systems.
- Durable and Reliable: Compliant with NEMA 1/4/12/4R/3R standards, the breaker features a high-strength metal housing. This design provides excellent physical protection and electromagnetic shielding, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments with extreme conditions.

Structure and Composition
- Housing: A robust metal housing that offers comprehensive physical protection against external impacts and electromagnetic interference, ensuring the internal components operate stably.
- Operating Mechanism: Consists of an operating handle, spring mechanism, and indicator light. The handle allows for easy manual operation, while the indicator light provides clear status monitoring, helping users quickly identify the breaker’s working condition.
- RMS Trigger Unit: An integrated electronic triggering device inside the breaker. It is responsible for real-time current monitoring and executing tripping actions when overload or short-circuit faults occur, ensuring timely protection.
- Connection Terminals: Typically equipped with bolt-on lugs, which facilitate quick and secure cable connection. This design ensures reliable electrical contact and reduces the risk of poor connection due to loose wiring.
- Rating Plug: A front-mounted plug assembly that directly determines the rated current of the circuit breaker. Its easy plug-and-play design enables convenient on-site adjustment.

Application Areas
- Industrial Power Distribution Systems: Widely used for overload and short-circuit protection of motors, transformers, and other large electrical equipment, ensuring the safe and stable operation of industrial power systems.
- Commercial Buildings: Serves as the main protection device for distribution boards in commercial buildings, effectively safeguarding the power supply system and preventing electrical accidents.
- High-Power Load Scenarios: Particularly suitable for high-harmonic environments, such as those with frequency converters, electric welding machines, and other equipment that generates harmonic currents, ensuring reliable protection in complex electrical environments.

Installation and Maintenance
Installation
- Cable Connection: Connect the power supply side and load side cables in accordance with the wiring diagram. Use bolts to fasten the connections tightly to ensure reliable electrical contact and prevent loose connections that may cause overheating.
- Rating Setting: If the rated current needs to be adjusted, simply plug or unplug the front-mounted Rating Plug. No disassembly of the housing is required, which simplifies the adjustment process and saves time.
Maintenance
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check whether the bolt connections are loose, and inspect the connection terminals for corrosion, overheating, or other damage. Timely handling of these issues can prevent potential faults.
- Component Replacement: When the breaker’s performance degrades or it is damaged, only the internal Trip Unit or connection terminals need to be replaced in most cases, rather than the entire housing. This reduces maintenance costs and improves maintenance efficiency.
