6. Installation and Maintenance

• Installation Clearance: It is recommended to reserve 152.4 mm (6 inches) of space at the top, bottom, left, and right of the equipment, and 101.6 mm (4 inches) of horizontal spacing between equipment to ensure heat dissipation and easy maintenance.
• Power Supply Connection: Ensure that the input power voltage and frequency meet the specifications, and correctly connect the L1, L2, L3 three-phase power supplies.
• Grounding: The metal housing of the equipment must be reliably grounded to prevent electric shock and electromagnetic interference.
• Motor Wiring: Select star or delta wiring according to the motor rated voltage, and ensure correct phase sequence.
• Parameter Setting: Perform parameter setting through the keyboard and LCD display, or use Allen-Bradley’s programming software (such as RSLogix 500) for remote configuration.
• Regular Inspection: Check if the heat sink is dusty, if the capacitors are swollen, and if the wiring terminals are loose or corroded.
